He also works within its bone marrow and stem cell transplantation centre and oncology centre, with interests in hematologic malignancies and stem cell transplantation.<\/p>\n<h3>Education and academic career<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical degree, Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine, 1992\u20131998.<\/li>\n<li>Internal medicine specialty training, Cerrahpa\u015fa Faculty of Medicine, 1999\u20132003.<\/li>\n<li>Hematology subspecialty training, Trakya University, 2004\u20132009.<\/li>\n<li>Associate professor in 2012 and professor in 2019.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Professional experience<\/h3>\n<p>He worked in internal medicine and hematology at Trakya University, then at Ankara Oncology Training and Research Hospital\u2019s hematology and stem cell transplantation clinic in 2009\u20132018. He also served as deputy centre director in 2012\u20132017 before joining Memorial.<\/p>\n<h3>Memberships and languages<\/h3>\n<p>Memberships include the Turkish hematology and apheresis societies, blood and marrow transplantation and hematologic oncology associations, and the European Hematology Association.
